Summary
The primary focus of the Retail Banking Admin Assistant I - II is to provide support to the Senior Vice-President of Retail Banking and the entire Retail Banking Administration Department. The Retail Banking Admin Assistant I - II is responsible for providing specialized confidential administrative support in a positive, efficient, effective manner, including scheduling internal and external meetings and appointments, screening correspondence and safekeeping of vital credit union records. The Retail Banking Admin Assistant I- II is a highly collaborative position that partners with all levels of credit union employees.
Essential Functions
- Assist the SVP Retail Banking and the Retail Banking RVPs/ROCs with ongoing high-level branch administration.
- Prepare and develop reports accurately and efficiently for the Chief Retail Officer, Retail Banking RVPs or as requested by management.
- Monitor and track incoming/outgoing branch reports.
- Assist with scheduling of branch meetings and training sessions. Schedule appointments, plan conferences, board meetings, annual meetings, yearly planning sessions and special events.
- Create PowerPoint presentations as directed.
- Schedule meetings and branch visits for the Chief Retail Officer and the Retail Banking RVPs.
- Prepare and/or outline information for assigned projects.
- Must be able to adhere to a flexible schedule
- Provide support to Retail Administration and other departments as assigned.
- Additional duties as assigned.
Required Skills and Abilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills as well as good telephone etiquette necessary.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to complete complex assignments using Microsoft Word and Excel and other software programs.
- Ability to operate the following equipment: computer, printer, telephone, calculator, fax machine, copier, and other general office equipment.
- Ability to read and comprehend instructions, correspondence, and memos.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed written or oral instructions.
- Must be proactive and adaptable, able to assess situations independently and take initiative when needed
- Must demonstrate and maintain a high level of confidentiality.
- Ability to effectively present information in one-on-one and small group situations to members, and other employees of the organization.
- Must work well under pressure, meeting multiple and sometimes conflicting deadlines.
- Must at all times demonstrate cooperative behavior with colleagues and supervisors.
Education and Experience
- High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED).
- Minimum of one-year financial institution experience preferred.
- Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software programs.
- Must have a strong foundation in all aspects of member service and be able to deal calmly and effectively with both members and branch staff.

Work Location
This is an on-site position at our Corporate Headquarters in Yuba City, CA.
Compensation Range
The company anticipates offering an hourly range between $21.23 and $31.22 for this position at the time of hire. This range includes base salary (or hourly wages) and does not include possible overtime for non-exempt employees or any applicable performance-based incentives or commissions.
Annual Merit Increase
Employees are eligible for a discretionary yearly merit-based salary adjustment, based on individual performance and company results.
