Senior Accountant – Finance Operations

Location: Hybrid/Remote

Candidates should reside in one of the following areas:

• Florida—either Jacksonville, Daytona or Orlando
• Arizona—Phoenix
• GA/NJ—Either Macon, GA or the greater NY/NJ area

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to support regional financial operations and serve as a key liaison between operations leadership and corporate finance. This role will play a critical part in financial reporting, operational analysis, budgeting support, and cross-functional business partnership across assigned regions.

The ideal candidate brings a strong accounting foundation along with the ability to operate in a fast-paced, operationally focused environment. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to expand beyond traditional accounting into a broader finance operations role.

Responsibilities

• Support monthly close processes, account reconciliations, and financial reporting activities
• Partner with regional operational leaders to analyze financial performance and operational trends
• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis
• Prepare and maintain financial models, reports, and KPI dashboards
• Help improve financial processes, reporting accuracy, and internal controls
• Collaborate with accounting, FP&A, and operations teams on strategic initiatives
• Serve as a finance point of contact for assigned regions/business units
• Support ad hoc financial analysis and leadership reporting requests

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• 4–7+ years of accounting, finance, or FP&A experience
• Public accounting experience preferred (Big 4/Big 8 strongly preferred)
• Experience with public or private equity-backed companies preferred
• Healthcare industry experience preferred
• Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills
• ERP experience preferred; NetSuite experience is a plus
• Advanced Excel skills required
• CPA or CPA-track candidates encouraged to apply
