Food Truck Team Member & Driver $20 HR in Gaithersburg, Maryland at CHAR'D

Char’d is looking for dependable, energetic, and motivated Team Members to join our Food Truck Operations team! This is a full-time position working primarily on our food trucks, serving guests at events, catering opportunities, and daily service locations.

In addition to delivering an exceptional guest experience, team members in this role must be comfortable driving and operating our food trucks safely and professionally. You'll be part of a fast-paced, high-energy environment, serving bold, flavorful food while representing the Char’d brand in the community.

• Safely drive and operate the Char’d food truck to and from scheduled locations and events
• Complete vehicle inspections and ensure the truck is clean, stocked, and ready for service
• Greet guests with a positive, welcoming attitude
• Take accurate orders and operate the register/POS system
• Prepare food items to Char’d standards while maintaining quality and consistency
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the truck, kitchen, and service areas
• Follow all food safety, sanitation, and cleanliness standards
• Support fellow team members during busy service periods
• Assist with inventory, restocking, opening/closing duties, and general upkeep
• Represent Char’d professionally at all times when interacting with guests and event organizers
• Arrive on time and maintain reliable attendance

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability and willingness to drive a food truck safely and responsibly
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality
• Positive attitude and team-first mindset
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a mobile kitchen environment
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and special events as needed
• Prior restaurant, food truck, catering, or customer service experience is a plus, but not required
