This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Engenheiro de Software Nível 4 (DevOps) based in Brazil.

This role is designed for a senior DevOps professional who will drive the evolution, scalability, and reliability of critical technology environments. You will play a key role in designing secure cloud solutions, improving automation practices, and enabling efficient software delivery across teams. The position combines strategic thinking with hands-on engineering, providing the opportunity to influence infrastructure decisions and operational excellence. You will work with modern cloud platforms, automation tools, container technologies, and CI/CD practices in a highly collaborative environment. Your contributions will directly support business-critical systems by improving performance, resilience, and delivery speed. This is an opportunity to take ownership of complex technical challenges while partnering with development and operations teams.

Accountabilities:

The Engenheiro de Software Nível 4 (DevOps) will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing infrastructure and application environments with a focus on scalability, security, and reliability. This professional will collaborate closely with engineering teams to improve automation, deployment processes, and platform performance.

  • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions using Terraform.
  • Build secure, scalable, and cost-efficient cloud solutions on AWS.
  • Develop and maintain robust CI/CD pipelines using tools such as GitHub Actions and GitLab.
  • Implement and improve monitoring and observability practices using solutions such as New Relic and Splunk.
  • Design and manage advanced container orchestration strategies with Kubernetes.
  • Support messaging and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
  • Apply cloud security, networking, and compliance best practices across environments.
  • Execute platform upgrades and migrations while minimizing business impact.
  • Partner with development and operations teams to enable reliable and agile software delivery.
  • Perform troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and continuous improvement initiatives across systems.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced DevOps engineer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, automation, and reliability engineering. You should have excellent problem-solving abilities, strong communication skills, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in DevOps, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), or related infrastructure engineering roles.
  • Strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud environments.
  • Advanced knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code practices.
  • Proven experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, especially with GitHub Actions and GitLab.
  • Recent practical experience creating and managing CI/CD workflows using GitHub Actions.
  • Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as New Relic and Splunk.
  • Strong production experience with Kubernetes and containerized environments.
  • Proven ability to execute platform upgrades and migrations with minimal operational impact.
  • Strong analytical skills for troubleshooting and root cause analysis.
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork abilities.
  • Experience with PostgreSQL, especially AWS Aurora, is considered a plus.
  • Knowledge of Kafka and event-driven architectures is desirable.
  • Familiarity with JVM and Node.js performance optimization is a plus.
  • Ability to promote DevOps culture and best practices across development teams is highly valued.
