This role is responsible for monitoring the onboard cameras (OBC) system and/or internal transportation software to ensure compliance with the established objectives and processes
Essential Functions:
Logistics ActivitiesResponsible for monitoring the onboard cameras (OBC) system and/or internal transportation software to ensure compliance with the established objectives and processes.
Ensure that the logistics area and its related activities comply with the company's policies and procedures
Ensure that the contractor transportation companies, and their drivers comply with the hours assigned to work for each driver, comply with the established speed, use of seat belts, identification, and notification of safety situations. by the system installed in the units, among others.
Collect detailed data from contractor transportation companies to generate key performance indicators (KPIs) to present them to the department's management team.
Maintain direct communication with contractor transportation companies and their drivers to validate information about the data collected.
Generate reports of delays in Retail and Commercial customers.
Maintain all information available and filed in the corresponding archives for its immediate reference when required.
Implement and monitor the transportation plan within the scope of the OBC management.
Provide support to the Dispatchers and Logistic Supervisor as instructed.
Responsible for coordinating meetings with each carrier, once a month, visiting their facilities to analyze the data, compare and make action plans for the findings.
Assist in maintaining the equipment in optimal condition, this includes going to the carriers to change SDS Cards or any other damage equipment.
HSE Activities
Liaise with the HSE department to possess the required knowledge of the company’s rules that is to be met by the contractor transport company.
Offer safety talks on the action items identified in the analysis performed to promote safety practices among the teams.
Visit contractor transportation companies to perform on-site inspections, training, and associated tasks to support improvement
Additionally, ensure that the process is followed by:
Local regulation and PATROM requirements shall be respected
Monitoring of our OBC system can support the performance and results of the company’s safety, security, client satisfaction and costs.
Extensive coordinate between players: suppliers, business, depots, drivers, etc.
Complex environment: Problems concerning supplies, road traffic, degraded highways, networks, driver behavior, etc. These problems make it difficult to ensure adequate HSEQ performance, awareness and client services, which are important for our operation.
Minimum Requirements:
Possessing a degree in Computer Science, Operations or related field is required.
Previous related experience, highly preferred.
Good knowledge of managing electronic equipment (e.g. tablets, mobile, etc.)
Computer proficiency and related equipment.
Knowledge of monitoring systems (e.g., GPS).
Basic vehicle knowledge, preferably.
Proven data analysis skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Good knowledge of MS Office.
Bilingual in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
Availability to travel and visit providers.
Customer service experience with internal and external customers, highly preferred
