Night Auditor in Punta Gorda, Florida at Sunbelt

A Night Auditor is responsible for overseeing hotel operations during overnight hours, ensuring guest satisfaction, handling front desk duties, and completing accounting and financial reconciliation tasks.

• Welcome and assist guests during overnight shifts.
• Check guests in and out of the hotel.
• Answer phone calls, emails, and guest inquiries.
• Resolve guest complaints and provide exceptional customer service.
• Process reservations, cancellations, and room assignments.
• Balance daily financial transactions and reconcile accounts.
• Prepare and distribute daily financial and occupancy reports.
• Verify room rates, charges, and payments for accuracy.
• Maintain security by monitoring hotel activity and enforcing policies.
• Coordinate with housekeeping, maintenance, and management as needed.
• Perform administrative tasks such as filing and record keeping.

• High school diploma or equivalent (associate degree preferred).
• Previous hotel, hospitality, customer service, or accounting experience preferred.
• Knowledge of hotel management software and Microsoft Office.
• Strong mathematical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Ability to work independently and remain alert during overnight hours.
