Job Description
Where Service Meets Style
Palm Aire Country Club isn’t your typical restaurant and that’s exactly the point.
We’re a private, member-owned country club on the Manatee/Sarasota county line where hospitality is personal. Our members are familiar faces, our team knows what great service looks like and dining is about creating an experience, not flipping tables as fast as possible.
We’re looking for an experienced Food & Beverage Supervisor (Captain) who leads by example and isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves. This is a hands on leadership role. You’ll lead the floor, supervise and support the service team, coordinate dining and events and wait tables as part of your role. In addition to your $25.00 hourly rate, you’ll have the opportunity to earn additional tips when serving.
Why You’ll Love Working Here
- No Traditional Late Nights – We’re not a late-night venue, so you can leave the 2 a.m. closes behind.
- Mondays Are Generally Yours – The Club is typically closed on Mondays. Occasional Mondays may be required for special events or Club needs.
- Competitive Pay – $25.00 per hour with the stability of predictable hourly income.
- Relationships, Not Table Turnover – Our members come back again and again. You’ll get to know them, their preferences and what makes their Club experience special.
- A Leadership Role Where You’re Still Part of the Team – We’re looking for someone who leads from the floor, communicates well and isn’t afraid to pitch in when things get busy.
- Exceptional Environment – Beautiful surroundings, friendly members and a professional culture that values respect and teamwork.
- The Perks Are Pretty Hard to Beat – Eligible employees have access to an outstanding benefits package and Club amenities including Golf, Tennis, Pickleball, Padel, Gym and Pool.
As our Food & Beverage Captain, you’ll help set the tone for each shift. You’ll lead preservice meetings, oversee dining and event setup, supervise the service team, monitor the flow and timing of service and work closely with the culinary team to keep everything running smoothly. You’ll also be a visible presence for our members, handling questions, special requests and concerns with professionalism and good judgment.
We’re looking for someone who understands that leadership in hospitality isn’t about standing on the sidelines giving instructions. It’s noticing when a server needs help, catching a detail before a member has to ask and making sure the team has what they need to succeed.
Availability on Wednesdays and Sundays is required. Flexibility for evenings, weekends, holidays, special events and occasional Mondays is also necessary.
Who We’re Looking For
Palm Aire is a place where tradition still matters, but we’re always looking for ways to make the member and employee experience better. We work hard, we have fun and we take pride in doing things well.
If you’re an experienced hospitality professional who is ready for the next step, wants to lead a great team and likes the idea of $25 an hour without the traditional restaurant late nights, we’d love to meet you.
At Palm Aire, great service starts with great people. Come lead the team that makes it happen.
Benefits include:
Competitive pay
100% employer-paid Health, Dental & Vision Insurance
Paid Holidays, PTO & Sick Time
401(k) with 4% employer match (fully vested)
Supplemental and Company-Paid Life Insurance (up to $200K)
Access to all Club amenities — Golf, Tennis, Pickleball, Padel, Gym, and Pool
