Job Description

Bilingual Sales & Customer Service Representative

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Bilingual Sales & Customer Service Representative based in Canada.

This remote, phone-first role combines sales, customer service, scheduling, and administrative coordination within a growing education services business. You will manage inbound inquiries, follow up with prospective students, and convert leads into scheduled and paid driving lessons. Your ability to communicate confidently in both English and Spanish will be essential when explaining packages, handling objections, and supporting families. You will also coordinate lesson schedules across instructors and a limited vehicle fleet while ensuring required documentation is complete. The role offers a varied day-to-day environment where strong organization, persistence, and customer communication directly contribute to growth and retention. You will work independently while helping strengthen operational processes as the business continues to scale.

Accountabilities:
  • Handle a steady volume of inbound calls from prospective students, explaining services, packages, pricing, and inclusions clearly in English or Spanish.
  • Make outbound calls to leads, previous inquiries, and prospective students who have not yet enrolled.
  • Follow up with students who have completed the classroom portion of Driver's Education and convert them into scheduled and paid driving lessons.
  • Address objections related to pricing, scheduling, and customer hesitation with patience, confidence, and persistence.
  • Present package benefits and pricing persuasively and close sales in either English or Spanish.
  • Communicate student progress to parents and identify appropriate opportunities to recommend additional lessons or packages.
  • Coordinate driving lesson schedules across a limited vehicle fleet and instructors with varying availability and employment arrangements.
  • Follow up with students regarding missing or incomplete documents and ensure required paperwork is ready before scheduled lessons.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date scheduling records while minimizing conflicts, gaps, and missed appointments.
  • Respond accurately to customer questions regarding scheduling, policies, and procedures.
  • Resolve customer concerns and complaints professionally to support satisfaction and retention.
  • Consistently document calls, leads, follow-ups, scheduled lessons, and outcomes, even while operating without a dedicated CRM.
  • Assist with basic bookkeeping tasks using QuickBooks when required.
  • Adapt to new CRM, scheduling, and operational systems as they are introduced.

Requirements:

  • 2+ years of experience in customer service, sales, or a related role, ideally involving significant phone-based interaction.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage a consistent volume of inbound and outbound calls.
  • Proven track record of meeting sales or conversion targets, rather than focusing solely on service metrics.
  • Fluent spoken and written English and Spanish, with mandatory C1–C2 English proficiency.
  • Ability to switch naturally between English and Spanish during customer conversations.
  • Confident communicating pricing, explaining service options, handling objections, and closing sales in both languages.
  • Strong phone presence with clear, professional, warm, and persuasive communication skills.
  • Excellent active listening and objection-handling abilities, particularly in a sales-focused environment.
  • Highly organized and capable of managing sales follow-up, scheduling, documentation, and customer communication simultaneously.
  • Comfortable working without a dedicated CRM and adaptable to new systems as operational processes evolve.
  • Self-motivated and proactive, particularly when conducting outbound calls and following up on leads.
  • Resilient and persistent when handling rejection or extended sales cycles.
  • Comfortable learning and using Square, RingCentral, Excel or Google Sheets, and Trello.
  • Basic familiarity with QuickBooks is a plus.
  • Previous experience in a call center, telesales, driving school, education services, or another service-based business is preferred.
  • Experience with scheduling systems and basic bookkeeping is an advantage.
  • Able to maintain a dedicated, quiet workspace, reliable high-speed internet, and a professional headset for phone-based work.
  • Available during business hours to support both inbound and outbound calling and meet agreed sales and call activity targets.

Benefits:

  • Fully remote, full-time position.
  • Salary of $600–$800 per month.
  • Phone-first role with direct responsibility for sales conversion and customer experience.
  • Opportunity to work across sales, customer service, scheduling, and business operations.
  • Opportunity to contribute to a growing service business and help improve its operational systems.
  • Exposure to bilingual customer interactions and a diverse customer base.
  • Opportunity to develop experience with sales, scheduling, lead management, and CRM-related tools.
  • Remote work environment offering flexibility and independence.
