We are seeking an enthusiastic and proactive Account Manager to join our team at Veryfi. As an Account Manager, your primary focus will be on existing client relationships, identifying upsell opportunities, providing finance support for collections, and collaborating with Account Executives to drive expansion opportunities with customers.

Responsibilities:
  • Upsell Opportunities: Identify and capitalize on upsell opportunities within our existing customer base by understanding their evolving needs and suggesting additional Veryfi solutions.
  • Finance Support: Assist the finance team with collections by maintaining open communication with clients, addressing payment concerns, and ensuring timely resolution of billing issues.
  • Support Account Executives: Collaborate with Account Executives to support expansion opportunities with customers, providing valuable insights from existing accounts and participating in client meetings as needed.
  • Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure a cohesive approach in meeting client needs and driving revenue growth.
Requirements:
  • Experience: 5 years of experience in account management, sales, or a related field, with a proven track record of upselling and customer retention.
  • Financial Acumen: Understanding of financial processes, particularly collections, and experience in supporting finance teams with customer-related financial matters.
  • Contractual Acumen.
  • Collaborative Skills: Ability to collaborate effectively with Account Executives and cross-functional teams to support expansion initiatives.
  • Communication and Negotiation: Excellent communication and negotiation skills to engage with clients and internal stakeholders.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical abilities to interpret data and derive insights for business growth opportunities.
  • Adaptability: Comfortable in a dynamic startup environment with the flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and requirements.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Experience with CRM Software: Proficiency in using HubSpot to manage client interactions and track progress.
