We have an opportunity available for a National Account Manager to work within our Sales Team. The National Account Manager will be responsible for for increasing sales and pursuing new multi-unit sales opportunities. This role includes, but not limited to overseeing the management of projects, installation, contract administration, coordination of job estimation and bidding along with consulting/design services. The National Account Manager serves as a direct representative of the company for all business opportunities and will conduct themselves in a professional manner. Internal job responsibilities will include forecasting, departmental strategy planning, business development, adhering to company profitability objectives and will lead finance & billing cross functional collaboration. This role will work for and report to the Director of Multi-Unit Sales.
What you will do:
- Maintain current Multi-Unit Business, including current Corporate accounts, franchise accounts, and existing customers.
- Work with Project Coordinators to ensure multi-unit projects are on-schedule, under budget, and all equipment is ordered to specifications.
- Oversee key accounts.
- Manage Customer relationships to ensure timely quoting and accurate ordering for new locations.
- Work with internal Installation department and subcontracted installers.
- Drive profitable growth of Multi-Unit department by bidding projects and pursuing new franchise and key account opportunities.
- Review and select multi-unit opportunities to pursue.
- Business Development to grow opportunities as well as referral business.
- Utilize existing relationships to find opportunities with related contacts and maximize profitability of the department.
- Travel as needed to develop new accounts and maintain existing accounts to strengthen relationships and increase market share.
- Design & Build projects/opportunities.
- Offer our design & build abilities to new customers to secure the development of key accounts and capture additional “spec credits” from manufacturer partners.
- Support existing accounts with our design team and CAD capabilities as needed by specific accounts
- Development and training
- Attend Supplier Trainings and continuing education as required to maintain industry certifications.

What we need:
- Ideal candidate has a minimum 5+ years sales and multi-unit experience within the foodservice equipment & construction field. This includes bid/estimating and sales.
- Commercial foodservice layout and design skills are preferred.
- College degree is preferred within business management, or other related degrees.
- Ability to stay organized while working with multiple customers and open projects daily.
- Excellent computer skills to navigate between desktop & laptop programs: Microsoft Office, Autoquotes (AQ), and mobile devices.
- High level of experience and full knowledge of franchising/national accounts and associated relationship and buying programs.
- High level of business acumen with an entrepreneurial spirit, self-driven with the ability to lead a team to achieve departmental goals.
- Highly effective oral and written communication skills.
- Flexibility to work outside normal business hours
- Travel to construction sites and GC/Architect offices.
- Periodic out of state travel to customer locations.
- Valid Driver’s License required
