JOB DUTIES:

• Stock product and care for plants

• Perform daily opening and closing tasks
• Maintain store appearance with dusting and cleaning including restrooms to ensure the store is neat, clean and orderly.
• Maintain the loading dock and customer hold area.
• Receive and verify arrival of product ensuring proper quality standards and billing is correct; unpack and price.
• Perform carry-out service and retrieve carts in parking lot.
• Work directly on sales floor, phones, registers assistance, daily, to assist customers.
• Assist other departments as needed.
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Demonstrates excellent customer relations and communication skills is required.
• Must be able to read and write English, perform basic math skills.
• High energy level.
• Strong eye for detail
• Retail or warehouse experience preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to follow through on work direction and is self motivated.
• Work is performed in areas with weather extremes of heat and cold, and wet conditions.
• The position requires standing/walking on hard surface during the entire shift, working at a fast pace.
• Must be able to lift 50lbs with frequent bending and follow proper lifting techniques.

SCHEDULE:

• Flexible work schedule/Retail store hours (e.g., nights, weekends and holidays)
• Expected to work a minimum of half the weekend days each month, in May preferably more.
• Mother's Day weekend has required work shifts.
