We’re looking for a detail-oriented and energetic Expo (Food Expeditor) to be the vital connection between our kitchen and service teams. In this role, you’ll ensure food is prepared correctly, plated beautifully, and delivered promptly, helping create a seamless and memorable dining experience for our guests.
This position may require flexible scheduling availability.
Requirements:Job Requirements:
- Coordinate communication between kitchen staff and front-of-house team
- Ensure all food orders are accurate, complete, and meet presentation standards
- Monitor ticket times and prioritize orders to maintain efficient service flow
- Garnish and plate dishes according to standards before service
- Assist in maintaining a clean, organized, and sanitary expo line
- Support kitchen and service teams during peak service times
- Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines
Job Qualifications:
- Previous restaurant or kitchen experience preferred (expo or service experience a plus)
- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Clear communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Commitment to quality, accuracy, and guest satisfaction
- Ability to remain calm and organized under pressure

Island Hospitality is unable to guarantee a specific number of work hours per week.
