- Lead structured business analysis activities to support large-scale transformation and technology-driven initiatives across security and intelligence domains
- Engage with stakeholders at all levels, from technical teams to executive leadership, to gather, validate, and prioritize business and functional requirements
- Translate complex operational needs into clear documentation, including user journeys, service blueprints, and functional specifications
- Drive process optimisation and service improvement initiatives using data insights and design thinking methodologies
- Facilitate collaboration between business and technical teams to ensure seamless delivery of scalable and user-centric solutions
- Support system implementation, testing, and integration activities to ensure successful deployment of digital and technical solutions
- Contribute to continuous improvement of business analysis practices, tools, and standards within the consulting environment
Requirements:
- Proven experience in a senior Business Analyst role, ideally within national security, defence, or intelligence-related environments
- Strong expertise in business analysis methodologies, including requirements gathering, user story development, and backlog management
- Solid understanding of Agile frameworks and familiarity with structured methodologies such as PRINCE2
- Experience delivering business change and IT transformation projects in complex, high-stakes environments
- Knowledge of data models, APIs, and modern cloud-based technologies, with the ability to bridge technical and business perspectives
- Proficiency with tools such as JIRA, Azure DevOps, Visio, or similar platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate across diverse teams
- Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving capabilities, with attention to risk assessment and long-term impact
- Ability to work on-site regularly and hold (or be eligible for) high-level security clearance
