Job Description
Job Summary:
Operates Company vehicle throughout the Omaha metro area. Accountable for the timely and accurate delivery and pickup of all incoming and outgoing mail, which includes rush orders, shipping labels, and bank deposits. Maintains on Company vehicles used for messenger duties.
Schedule Requirements: This is a Temporary position, plan to work Monday- Friday, from 8am - 4pm. Assignment begins December 1stand will end approximately December 26.
Major Job Responsibilities/Job Duties:
Picks up, delivers and distributes all incoming and outgoing mail and interoffice communications for all OSI Divisions.
Delivers various types of supplies, samples, product and equipment to all OSI divisions and outside vendors. Completes daily request form information.
Handles personal errands and deliveries as requested in a professional and polite manner.
Picks up and delivers confidential documents to Company attorneys, insurance companies and mail shop. Delivers bulk mailings and postage check deposits to the Post Office as required.
Processes incoming mail orders and check pendings and ensures accuracy while sorting and batching
Responsible for timely delivery of bank deposits from Accounting and Order Processing Departments.
Maintains Company vehicle and performs other related duties as assigned.
Meets expectations for attendance and punctuality.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
High school diploma or equivalent
Courier service preferred and familiarity with Metro Omaha Area. Must have valid drivers license and good driving record.
Excellent organizational skills, ability to make decisions and work independently.
