Lumix Electrical, Inc. is seeking an experienced Low Voltage & Fire Alarm Systems Technician to join our growing team. • Install, repair, maintain, and test fire alarm systems and program control panels based on building plans and electrical layouts

• Mount devices and run low-voltage cabling, including drilling concrete walls and performing limited conduit work

• Access work areas such as crawlspaces, attics, and elevated locations as required

• Ensure all installations comply with applicable electrical, fire, and life safety codes

• Complete all wiring, terminations, and equipment installations in accordance with NFPA and local regulations

• Test newly installed fire alarm systems and devices to verify full operational status

• Troubleshoot new and existing system installations to ensure compliance with local, state, and federal codes and insurance requirements

• Perform service and support for commercial and industrial low-voltage systems

• Support pre-installation planning and technical solution design when applicable

• Supervisory or lead technician experience preferred

• NICET certification preferred

• Knowledge of NFPA 70, 72, and 101

• Experience reading blueprints and site maps

• Experience with burglar alarm, access control, and CCTV systems is a plus

• Experience with IP video, IP physical access control, LAN/WAN infrastructure, and wireless networks preferred

• Strong verbal and written communication skills and customer service mindset

• Certified to operate boom or scissor lifts and comfortable working at heights

• Possession of basic telecommunications tools and required PPE

• Reliable transportation and ability to travel for projects

• Valid drivers license with clean driving record

• Compensation & Bonuses:
