Accounts Receivable and Payables Associate at Crowley Car Company – Escondido, California

Our Accounts Receivable and Payables Associate works with a team of specialized accounting and administrative professionals to execute timely services for two of the automotive dealerships we support.

Compensation: $20 to $25 per hour depending on experience

What you’ll be doing:

• Researching and reconciling statements
• Cutting checks
• Running reports
• Balancing month end and fixed asset schedules
• Maintaining up to date 1099’s
• Maintaining General Ledger reports
• Entering and posting invoices in computer systems
• Posting payments
• Alerting management of discrepancies
• Creating journal entries
• Posting vendor invoices
• Scanning and digitally and physically filing documents
• Creating excel spreadsheets and reports at month end
• Performing other tasks or duties as assigned

What we’re looking for:

• High school diploma or GED required
• Minimum 3 months experience and/or training in Accounting or bookkeeping
• Strong attention to detail and ability to track, prioritize, and multi-task different tasks
• Skill and ability to apply and perform basic accounting functions and mathematical operations including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Ability to interact with customers (verbally and in writing) with efficiency and courtesy
• Ability to read and comprehend written and verbal instructions and information
• Ability to learn to read and understand financial documents such as invoices, schedules, vendor statements, and other miscellaneous reports
