Steel Warehouse Laborer at Glosser Steel – Zelienople, Pennsylvania

We are currently seeking a laborer in our Steel Warehouse in Zelienople, PA. Duties include moving freight, stock, and other materials.

This is a full-time position, working Monday – Friday, daylight hours.

Responsibilities:

• Use lifting equipment safely to load and unload trucks and racks.
• Ensure that incoming and outgoing products and quantities are correct and match bills of ladings.
• Ensure incoming and outgoing products meet quality standards.
• Assists with securing goods and materials, using specialized equipment when warranted.
• Assist other employees as needed.
• Performs other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

• Ability to follow directions.
• Ability to handle materials and equipment in a responsible manner.
• Ability to read and accurately measure products.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Understanding of and the ability to abide by applicable OSHA and environmental regulation.
• Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Experience with using forklifts, lift trucks, and cranes is highly preferred.
• Willingness to learn new skills
