$5,000 Sign On Bonus
(The sign on bonus will be paid in two $2,500 installments, the first payroll following 30 days of employment and the first payroll following 180 days of employment.)
Job Summary
At KidsPeace, the Community Living Clinician ensures that all youth develop life skills and obtain tools and resources needed to be successful in reintegration back into the community.
JOB DUTIES:
- Assist in the performance of and observation of restraints as necessary when ordered by a licensed professional using the current approved KidsPeace restraint methodology on youth who may weigh in excess of 250 pounds and who are physically threatening or otherwise presenting a threat to themselves or others.
- Maintain client files in compliance with KidsPeace Quality Assurance standards as well as those external licensing and regulatory bodies.
- Provide on and off-ground enrichment and community living activities as applicable to youth.
- Develop and maintain a vocational resource guide for clients, parents, and staff.
- Maintain regular communication with internal and external customers and provide psycho education as necessary to appropriate customers.
- Ensure completion of Life Skills assessment and incorporate into the Treatment Plan.
- Participate in treatment planning, discharge and aftercare planning as required.
- Organize and facilitate group independent living sessions in the assigned program.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Master's Degree in Social Work, Psychology, Counseling, Human Services or related field required. Master's degree in Vocational Rehabilitation preferred.
- Experience working children and adolescents in a mental and/or behavioral health setting preferred.
- Prior experience providing clinical services required, prior experience with providing Life Skills Preferred.
- Valid driver's license required.
Salary: $53,000.00 - $67,000.00 annually
KidsPeace provides weekly supervision for LCSW / LPC licensure.
