You will be responsible for shaping a scientifically rigorous and highly engaging training curriculum that strengthens clinical acumen across the organization. Acting as both a strategic leader and hands-on facilitator, you will deliver training sessions to healthcare professionals and internal teams, ensuring content is accurate, relevant, and aligned with oncology treatment advancements. The position requires close collaboration with marketing, sales, and medical stakeholders to ensure consistent messaging and strong field readiness. You will also contribute to speaker program development and external education initiatives supporting oncology care teams. This is a highly visible role combining clinical expertise, commercial training leadership, and cross-functional influence in a fast-paced biotech environment.

Accountabilities:

You will be responsible for designing, executing, and continuously improving a comprehensive clinical training strategy that enhances oncology knowledge and commercial effectiveness across internal teams and external stakeholders.

  • Lead the development of a multi-level clinical training curriculum covering oncology science, clinical acumen, commercial excellence, and leadership development
  • Design and deliver high-impact training sessions, workshops, and educational programs for internal teams and healthcare professionals
  • Ensure training content is scientifically accurate, up to date, and aligned with oncology biotech standards and commercial objectives
  • Collaborate with field teams and cross-functional stakeholders to identify learning needs and address capability gaps
  • Support onboarding and training programs for new commercial team members
  • Evaluate training effectiveness using feedback, assessments, and performance outcomes, and continuously refine programs
  • Partner with marketing teams to contribute to nursing speaker program content and educational initiatives
  • Facilitate external training sessions for physicians, nurses, and specialty pharmacy staff using approved materials
  • Maintain documentation and reporting of all training initiatives and outcomes
  • Ensure compliance with all regulatory, legal, and internal policies governing training and educational activities
Requirements:

This role requires strong clinical oncology experience combined with expertise in commercial training and field-based education within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. The ideal candidate is both a subject matter expert and an effective communicator capable of engaging diverse audiences.

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree required, preferably in a clinical or healthcare-related field
  • 12+ years of relevant experience, including oncology clinical practice (nursing, NP, PA, or equivalent)
  • Prior experience in commercial training within oncology or biotech/pharma environment
  • Strong understanding of oncology therapeutics, tumor biology, and clinical practice
  • Experience delivering or promoting oral oncolytics is highly preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple training initiatives in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication, presentation, and facilitation skills for both clinical and commercial audiences
  • Experience collaborating cross-functionally with marketing, sales, and medical teams
  • Highly organized with strong project management and execution capabilities
  • Ability to work in ambiguous environments with agility, creativity, and strong collaboration skills
  • Willingness to travel approximately 40%
