Sloomoo celebrates joy through an interactive experiential world, focused on slime, hands-on play, and all things #satisfying. Sloomoo launched in October of 2019 with an immersive 12,000 square-foot experience in Soho, NYC, where hand-crafted, artisanal slime (dozens of textures and the most delicious scents), soothing ASMR, and wondrous delights (you can slingshot slime, walk on slime, design your own slime, and more) converge with glossy, contemporary design.
Sloomoo’s universe has expanded - there are now a total of 5 Institutes (NYC, LA, Houston, Chicago, Atlanta) and two MiniMoos (Boston, Philadelphia) with more to come.
MiniMoos are smaller than the Institutes but packed with as much color, surprise, and play.
The brand has been featured in People Magazine, Vogue, the Today Show, the Kelly Clarkson Show, the Tamron Hall Show, Forbes, INC, and more.
The mission: Deliver joy, whether you’re a kid or kid-at-heart. Position Summary As a Retail Lead, you will be a key part of our leadership team, supporting the General Manager in overseeing the retail floor, ensuring exceptional customer experiences, and guiding the team to meet sales goals. This role requires a mix of hands-on engagement, operational efficiency, and a deep enthusiasm for Sloomoo’s playful and creative world.You will be key to upholding Sloomoo’s values: 1. Responsibilities: Customer Experience & Sales:Deliver an engaging, fun, and interactive shopping experience.Assist guests with product selection and slime customization.Drive sales through excellent product knowledge and storytelling.Maintain a high level of energy and enthusiasm on the floor.Customer engagement and upselling.Leadership & Team Support:
Lead by example, motivating and coaching team members.Assist in training new hires and reinforcing company standards.Support scheduling, breaks, and team coordination during shifts.Coordinate and provide training for retail specialists on brand standards.Support Experience operation when required. Operations & Visual Merchandising:Maintain visual and sensory merchandising to align with brand standards.Ensure product displays are well-stocked, organized, and inviting.Process transactions accurately using the POS system.Help oversee inventory management, restocking, and loss prevention.Store Ambassadorship:Embody the spirit of Sloomoo through creativity and playfulness.Support special events, workshops, and community engagement initiatives.Address customer inquiries and resolve concerns in a positive manner.Other duties as assigned.Qualifications:1–3 years of experience in retail, customer service, or a related field.Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Passion for creativity, sensory play, and engaging customer experiences.Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.Minimum age: 18 years.
