Position Purpose: Performs duties which requires manual labor to both provide and ensure the provision of work in accordance with the Statement of Work incorporated into the contract between VersAbility and the US Government.
Primary Duties:
• Performs physical tasks such as manually unloading or loading navy ships or other transporting devices.
• Sorts, stocks, pulls product, packages and re-packages in proper storage locations.
• Transports goods by hand truck, cart, or daisy chain.
• Complies with safety program and adheres to proper safety practices. • Responsible for adhering to all policies and procedures as set forth by VersAbility and the U.S. Government.
Qualifications/Skills Knowledge & Abilities:
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
Experience: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions and outside weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
