Job Description
Position Title: Production Operator - 1st shift

Production Operator (Temp to Hire Opportunity)
We're hiring a Production Operator for a long-term temporary role with strong potential to go permanent (estimated 6+ months). If you're looking for stability, hands-on work, and a foot in the door with a growing operation-this is it.
Pay: $23/hr
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 5:30 AM - 3:30 PM
This role is responsible for operating and maintaining production equipment to ensure products are made safely, efficiently, and to quality standards. You'll be involved in multiple stages of the process, including machine operation, material handling, and product monitoring.
Responsibilities:
• Set up, operate, and monitor production machinery
• Control product size, speed, temperature, and consistency
• Verify product quality, including weight, color, and viscosity
• Follow daily production schedules and recipes
• Load raw materials and transfer product through production stages
• Perform equipment cleaning and basic preventative maintenance
• Fill and package finished product into drums or containers
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Cross-train in multiple roles including Line Worker, Mixer Attendant, and Melter
• Follow all safety, GMP, and food safety (SQF) guidelines
Qualifications:
• High school diploma or GED required
• 3-6 months of manufacturing experience or related training preferred
• Basic computer skills (Word, Excel) and familiarity with control panels is a plus
• Ability to read and follow instructions, recipes, and safety procedures
• Strong math skills (percentages, fractions, decimals)
• Team-oriented with good attention to detail and quality
