Job Description
HCI is seeking a highly analytical and collaborative Revenue Integrity Analyst to join our Finance team. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the full and accurate capture of clinical services, diagnoses, and value‑based care performance across the entire revenue cycle.
The Revenue Integrity Analyst partners closely with Finance, Practice Management, Revenue Cycle, Quality & Compliance, Business Systems, and medical leadership to trace services end‑to‑end—from patient access and clinical documentation through charge capture, billing, and incentive reconciliation. The goal is to identify workflow, process, or system breakdowns that prevent the complete story of patient care from being captured and to ensure HCI receives every dollar it has earned.
Key Responsibilities- Analyze end‑to‑end revenue cycle workflows, from patient access through billing and payment, to identify leakage or breakdowns impacting revenue and incentives
- Partner with clinical, operational, and IT leaders to evaluate documentation, coding, charge capture, and system configuration
- Monitor HCC/RAF score performance and risk adjustment accuracy across value‑based care programs
- Validate data integrity and linkages across clinical, financial, and analytic systems
- Verify that all earned value‑based care incentive payments are received accurately and in full
- Identify trends, gaps, and improvement opportunities related to revenue integrity and value‑based performance
- Translate complex data findings into clear insights and recommendations for leadership
- Support compliance with regulatory, payer, and value‑based care requirements
- Participate in cross‑functional initiatives to improve revenue cycle efficiency and financial performance
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Healthcare Administration, Business Analytics, or a related field
- Experience in healthcare finance, revenue cycle, revenue integrity, or value‑based care analytics
- Strong understanding of clinical documentation, coding, charge capture, and billing workflows
- Analytical mindset with the ability to work across data, systems, and operational workflows
- Ability to collaborate effectively with both clinical and non‑clinical stakeholders
Preferred:
- Experience with HCC/RAF scoring, risk adjustment, or Medicare Advantage/value‑based programs
- Familiarity with EHR, billing, and revenue cycle systems
- Advanced Excel or data analysis skills; experience with healthcare analytics tools a plus
