The Mover is responsible for the professional handling, transportation, delivery, and installation of personal effects, fine art, antiques, and furniture for local and interstate moves. This role involves extensive coordination with warehouse and dispatch teams, adherence to safety protocols, and a high standard of customer service and care in handling high-value and fragile items. This position offers:

Key Responsibilities for a Mover are the following:
- Perform scheduled collections and deliveries of goods, ensuring timely and accurate execution.
- Ensure vehicle cleanliness and readiness for daily use.
- Handle all required paperwork onsite and in the field, including condition reports and trip manifests.
- Accurately pack, handle, and install artworks, antiques, and fine furnishings in a secure and professional manner.
- Assist with complex installations and site-specific projects.
- Provide leadership and training to junior art handlers as required.
- Load and unload Wetzel and Sons and third-party trucks with care and precision.
- Maintain detailed focus and high-quality execution on each assigned job.
- On occasion, report to or from a client site; in such cases, submit a manual timesheet signed by a supervisor or manager within 24 hours.
- Notify the Dispatch Manager of any proposed trip changes or manifest modifications before execution.
- Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability in dynamic work environments.
- Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational capabilities.
- Professional communication, customer service, and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift and maneuver up to 70 pounds; push/pull up to 150 pounds on equipment.
- Capable of standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, twisting, and reaching throughout the workday.
- Skilled in the use of logistics equipment including dollies, j-bars, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.
- Ability to follow detailed paperwork and complete condition reporting accurately.
- Operates under direct supervision with limited autonomy.
- Changes to assignments or schedules must be approved by the Dispatch Manager.
- Decision-making authority may expand with demonstrated performance and tenure.
