Dayspring Academy Angeline Campus is seeking a dynamic and data-driven Instructional Coach to support the growth and success of both our teachers and learners. This dual role will provide instructional coaching for all teachers, while offering targeted instruction for learners.
Position: Full time/Exempt, 10 month position

ResponsibilitiesDuties of this position include but are not limited to:Instructional Coaching:- Provide coaching cycles for teachers, including observation, feedback, co-planning, and modeling of effective instructional practices.
- Lead data-driven conversations with teachers to support learner achievement, focusing on engagement, checking for understanding, differentiation, and rigorous instruction.
- Collaborate with teachers and leadership to implement school-wide instructional initiatives, including evidence-based strategies and high-impact instructional routines.
- Support teachers in the use of formative and summative data to drive instruction.
- Facilitate professional development, PLCs, and instructional rounds aligned to school goals and the Dayspring coaching model.
- Support teachers in developing classroom management strategies that promote a positive and engaging learning environment.
- Be a part of the LIAM team to increase leadership skills and collaborate with team members to work on campus events and solutions.
- Provide targeting instruction to Tier 3 learners.
- Partner with classroom teachers and target instruction para to align interventions with core instruction.
Other Responsibilities:
- Build regional capacity for and provide ongoing, job-embedded professional development for instructors that: promotes standards-driven instruction within Professional Learning Communities; encourages inquiry, creativity, communication, critical thinking, and problem solving skills through the independent use of instructional resources in the learning environment; stimulates the development of innovative research-based teaching strategies and reflective practices in order to provide students with opportunities to develop the necessary literacy/math skills required to master state and national standards.
- Become well versed in Dayspring Academy’s Curriculum to support rigorous learning in the classroom.
- Identify and acknowledge Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) that effectively utilize standards to plan for and use best instructional practices and develop systems to share those practices in order to build capacity within and across campuses.
- Ensure a link between professional development and a change in practice with ongoing monitoring, including observation and feedback.
- Support PLCs by teaching, modeling, and supporting collaborative structures; assisting with the analysis of various types of data to inform mastery of standards; and making recommendations for professional development as needed.
- Participate in and facilitate professional learning communities to deepen understanding and implementation of the school focus areas.
- Serve as a liaison between others in like positions to provide a team approach to school needs.
- Provide guidance in selection, location, utilization, and evaluation of resources to support learning objectives within a standards-based system and meet the individual needs and interests of students and adult learners
- Serve as a member of appropriate committees
- Demonstrate support for the school’s vision, mission, goals, and priorities
- Perform other duties as assigned

Requirements:- All employees must be fingerprinted and pass a background screening process by the Clearinghouse.
- Knowledge and understanding of state curriculum standards and effective instructional strategies
- Ability to communicate effectively in written and oral form using positive interpersonal skills with school-based, regional, and district support teams
- Ability to employ effective coaching and facilitation skills to plan for and respond to consistent learning across content areas
- Ability to reflect and apply knowledge from current research on best practices for improving learner achievement
- Demonstrate command of leadership skills in formal and informal settings
- Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage work assignments in an efficient manner
EDUCATION/TRAINING
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
- Valid Florida Educator’s Certificate
- Experience using current communication technologies
- Successful instructional experience, including coaching and mentoring adults
- Experience evaluating, designing, and facilitating professional development for adults
- Experience leading professional learning communities OR
- Any equivalent combination of education and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills, and abilities to perform the essential duties and responsibilities of the position.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Post-graduate degree in an educational field from an accredited institution
- Experience with project implementation and management
