We’re looking for a Pursuits Coordinator who thrives at the intersection of creativity and precision. This role is centered on developing compelling proposals, RFQs, and RFP responses that communicate our value in a clear, polished, and visually engaging way. This role is also a support role for our client interview teams, leading the creation of interview presentations and materials to win new projects. You’ll also work alongside the marketing team to update proposal templates and organize assets for all pursuit-related content.
To succeed, you’ll need to balance strong design skills with a pragmatic, deadline-focused approach, transforming technical content into persuasive materials that win work while maintaining brand consistency. This position is ideal for someone who loves organization and creativity, but also thrives under deadlines and takes satisfaction in delivering well-crafted, strategic work. Who You Are • A team player known for reliability, hard work, and humility. • Highly organized with a strong ability to prioritize and meet deadlines. • Able to balance creativity with structure, turning complex information into clear, effective proposals. • Confident in design execution while mindful of brand consistency. • Comfortable collaborating with Preconstruction teams and shaping information into compelling narratives. • Calm under pressure, detail-oriented, and accountable for results. What You’ll Do Proposal & Preconstruction Support • Lead the creation and refinement of proposals, RFIs, RFQs, and RFPs. • Lead client interview preparation by developing visuals, messaging, and presentation materials alongside project teams. • Translate technical project details into engaging narratives and graphics. • Contribute to visual storytelling within pursuit efforts through graphics, project profile sheets, resume composition, and visual content.
Asset Management & Brand Consistency • Maintain a pursuits library of assets including project profile sheets, team member resumes, client testimonials, project photos, and other proposal assets. • Ensure all deliverables align with brand standards and reflect Align Builders’ identity. What You Bring • 3–5 years of experience in proposal development, preconstruction, marketing, or communications, (AEC industry experience a plus). • Strong graphic design skills with proficiency in Adobe InDesign, Photoshop, and Illustrator. • Excellent writing, editing, and visual storytelling skills. • Experience creating and managing proposals or client-facing deliverables under tight deadlines. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. • Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Marketing, Communications, Graphic Design, or related field preferred (or equivalent experience). CompensationThe base pay range for this role is $70,000 – $100,000 per year.
