About the Position: The Quality Manager performs a variety of training and management duties as needed to ensure the ongoing compliance with quality standards and specifications are being met. This position works with a variety of individuals at Innovative Labs including but not limited to the quality team, management and customers. This position is part of a team atmosphere focused on achieving excellence in quality manufacturing. The atmosphere is energetic with the ability to be flexible while working in a regulatory environment.


What You’ll Do:

  • Oversee the quality management system and quality team for a liquid dietary supplement manufacturer.
  • Assist in ongoing training activities designed to keep employees knowledgeable and informed of SOP’s methods and GMP’s.
  • Oversee personnel, training and functions including employee hiring and performance plans.
  • Perform updates to documentation systems as needed.
  • Assist in the management of the company Food Safety and HACCP program and functions as the PCQI at the facility.
  • Perform the sanitation supervisor functions of the facility.
  • Oversee product analytical lab testing and instrument calibration.
  • Interpret quality requirements and implements solutions and improvements.
  • Oversee incoming material, in process product and finished good product quality inspections, testing and releases.
  • Support the management of internal traceability and quality control systems.
  • May perform and host audits from customers and certifying agencies as necessary.
  • Monitor and perform plant internal auditing and perform corrective actions.
  • Perform corrective action and CAPA investigations and documentation.
  • Responsible for all quality related documentation at facility.
  • Assist in cross functionality of the quality team and other inter departmental teams.
  • Responsible for working alongside manufacturing to maintain high quality standards throughout the manufacturing facility.
  • Oversee the development, implementation, review, and maintenance of the SQF System.
  • Other similar duties as required.

  • Ability to understand and interpret product quality, specifications, and regulatory documents
  • Able to remain calm and helpful in a manufacturing environment
  • Must possess the ability to encourage others
  • Bachelor’s Degree in related field
  • 6+ years related experience
  • Management experience is required
