Join Bierman Autism Centers as a Physician Liaison and play a critical role in connecting children with autism to life-changing, evidence-based care across New Jersey!
In this highly visible, relationship-driven role, you will serve as a strategic bridge between Bierman and the medical community, partnering with pediatricians, specialists, and allied healthcare providers to expand access to ABA therapy. You will lead targeted outreach efforts, build and strengthen referral partnerships, and act as a trusted resource supporting families through the diagnostic and treatment journey.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvider Relationship Development
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with pediatricians, developmental pediatricians, neurologists, psychologists, and other referral sources
- Conduct regular in-person and virtual visits to physician offices, clinics, and hospitals
- Serve as the primary point of contact for provider inquiries, referrals, and collaboration
Referral Growth & Strategy
- Execute targeted outreach strategies to increase referral volume across New Jersey markets
- Analyze referral trends and identify opportunities for growth and market expansion
- Maintain and track referral pipelines using CRM system
Education & Outreach
- Provide education to healthcare providers on ABA therapy, autism diagnosis pathways, and Bierman Autism Centers’ services
- Deliver presentations, lunch-and-learns, and training sessions to medical offices and community organizations
- Represent the organization at conferences, networking events, and professional meetings, as needed
Care Coordination Support
- Facilitate smooth referral and intake processes between providers and Bierman Autism Centers
- Collaborate with intake, clinical, and operations teams to ensure timely communication and service access
- Support continuity of care by maintaining communication with referring providers
Market Intelligence
- Stay informed on regional healthcare trends, payer landscapes, and competitor activity
- Identify new partnership opportunities within hospitals, private practices, and community organizations

Essential Functions:
- Must have manual dexterity to perform specific computer and electronic device functions.
- Must have visual acuity to read and comprehend written communication though computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- Must be able to maintain prolonged periods of working on a computer while sitting at a desk and attending virtual meetings.
Job Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, marketing, business, childhood development, or related field
- 2+ years of experience in healthcare outreach, physician liaison, or medical sales
- Strong understanding of referral development and relationship management
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to travel locally throughout New Jersey (60%)
Preferred:
- Experience in behavioral health, ABA therapy, pediatrics, or autism services
- Familiarity with insurance systems, especially commercial and Medicaid plans in New Jersey
- Established relationships within the New Jersey medical community
Job Type: Exempt, Full-Time
