Overview:

The Cyber Security Specialist Senior provides TSA’s Trusted Operations, Maintenance, Cybersecurity, Assurance, and Technology (TOMCAT) operational continuity, service excellence, security, and adaptive IT/OT Operations and Maintenance (O&M) support.

Responsibilities:

· Conduct regular vulnerability assessments and penetration tests to identify and remediate security weaknesses in networks, systems, and applications.

· Monitor security access and analyze system logs and network traffic for suspicious activities or potential threats.

· Administer, configure, and maintain security tools, including firewalls, intrusion detection systems, and antivirus software.

· Lead incident response efforts by investigating security breaches, determining the root cause, and coordinating recovery actions.

· Develop and enforce information security policies and procedures to ensure compliance with industry regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

Required:

· Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or a similar Information Technology Field.

· 7 years' experience in cybersecurity operations.

· Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) Certified

· Secret Clearance
