Job description – Human Resource Generalist

Manufacturing Industry

Reports to Director, Global Human Resources

Full-Time, Monday -Friday

Requirements:

Primary Function & Responsibility

As a Human Resource Generalist with MDC Precision, you will interact with all levels of employees daily. This is a position with a great deal of responsibility, as well as a varied range of tasks. On a day-to-day basis, an MDC Precision HR generalist can expect to be involved in staffing logistics, employee training, benefits administration, employee discipline, grievances, health and safety, performance management, reports, Payroll and legal compliance.

Paylocity Payroll Owner - Paylocity

Independently process multi-state, full-cycle, US payroll for approximately 250employees including pay, vacation/sick accruals, and garnishments using Paylocity. Run reports and create excel spreadsheets as necessary. Year-end payroll processes. Knowledge of multi-state payroll is a must.

Administrative

Process facets of new hires including setting up drug screens, background checks, and working with IT to ensure everything is prepared for their first day. Assist with the planning, scheduling, and promotion of company events, parties, food trucks, team building, and new hire orientation.

Benefits

Audit benefit billing to ensure new hires are correctly added, terminations are removed, allocate bill charges by the department, and work with the accounting department to process the payments.

Ensure all benefit documentation is available to all employees in appropriate languages

Minimum Qualifications

High school diploma

3 years of HR Generalist experience

2 years of Hands-On Paylocity Payroll Experience
