The Server is responsible for delivering prompt, accurate, upbeat, and professional food and beverage service while consistently following all company systems, service standards, policies, and procedures. Servers play the most influential role in shaping the guest experience, building loyalty, increasing sales through confident upselling, and creating a fun, welcoming, island-style atmosphere for both guests and teammates. From the first greet to the final check drop, you own your section and the experience within it. This position is ideal for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, high-volume environments and genuinely enjoy connecting with people. Prior serving experience is not required, but preferred

• Greet every guest like a VIP stepping aboard your ship, setting the tone for an unforgettable dining experience
• Guide guests through the menu, offering recommendations and steering them toward signature favorites
• Deliver prompt, accurate, and energetic service from first greeting to final farewell
• Enter all food and beverage orders tableside using handheld devices, ensuring accuracy and speed
• Process all guest payments tableside, keeping transactions smooth and efficient
• Follow assigned seating charts, rotations, and section maps to keep service flowing smoothly
• Manage assigned sections to maximize guest satisfaction and earning potential
• Actively upsell food, beverages, and featured specials to boost the guest experience
• Anticipate guest needs, keeping drinks full, tables cleared, and spirits high
• Assist fellow teammates by running food & drinks, and jumping in wherever needed
• Maintain a clean, organized, shipshape section and server station throughout your shift
• Use radios and communication tools to stay in sync with the crew and management
• Support the host stand by helping manage guest flow and seating parties
• Follow all health department, food safety, sanitation guidelines to keep the ship sailing safely
• Verify guest identification and serve alcohol responsibly in compliance with company policy and state law
• Properly handle, store, and return all company-issued gear including tablets, pagers, radios, and handheld devices
• Immediately report any missing, damaged, or malfunctioning equipment
• Maintain professionalism, positivity, and teamwork — even when the seas get rough
