JOB SUMMARY

The Host is the first impression of The Foundry Room, setting the tone for an elevated yet approachable dining experience. This role is all about warmth, organization, and attention to detail - creating a smooth, welcoming arrival for every guest while supporting the flow of the restaurant. If you love hospitality and thrive in a fast-paced, guest-facing environment, this is where it starts.

WHAT YOU’LL DO

· Welcome every guest with genuine hospitality, warmth, and professionalism, creating an immediate sense of arrival.

· Manage reservations, walk-ins, and waitlists to ensure efficient table flow and an exceptional guest experience.

· Communicate clearly with servers, bartenders, and managers to maintain smooth service and accurate seating.

· Escort guests to their tables and provide menus while offering helpful insight into the restaurant and dining experience.

· Monitor dining room activity to anticipate guest needs and support overall service flow.

· Maintain a polished host stand and entry area that reflects The Foundry Room’s elevated atmosphere.

· Assist with guest inquiries, special requests, and concerns, escalating to leadership when needed.

· Support the team during peak service times to ensure a seamless and memorable experience.

· Take on additional duties as assigned by management to support the smooth operation of the hotel.

WHAT YOU BRING

· Previous host or guest-facing hospitality experience preferred.

· Strong communication skills with a friendly, confident, and professional presence.

· Ability to stay organized, calm, and guest-focused in a fast-paced environment.

· A team-first mindset with a passion for creating incredible guest experiences.

· Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
