- Drive new business acquisition by identifying, pursuing, and closing opportunities within cyber incident response services
- Build and execute strategic business development plans aligned with industry trends and organizational growth objectives
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with insurers, brokers, legal advisors, and key stakeholders in the cyber ecosystem
- Deliver consultative sales approaches, advising clients on incident response solutions such as breach notification, data review, and monitoring services
- Collaborate with internal teams to design tailored solutions that meet client needs and ensure seamless service delivery
- Represent the organization at industry events, conferences, and speaking engagements to enhance visibility and credibility
- Track pipeline performance, maintain accurate reporting, and continuously optimize sales strategies for improved outcomes
Requirements:
- 5+ years of business development experience, specifically in cyber incident response or closely related services (not limited to SaaS sales)
- Strong network and experience working with cyber insurers, claims professionals, breach counsel, and law firms
- Deep understanding of data breach workflows, incident response processes, and vendor ecosystems
- Proven track record of generating new business and building revenue pipelines from scratch
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills with the ability to act as a trusted advisor
- Entrepreneurial mindset with strong self-motivation, adaptability, and resilience in a fast-paced environment
- Willingness to travel and work remotely while maintaining high productivity
