Responsibilities

Hines Private Wealth Solutions is scaling rapidly across Asia-Pacific. We are looking for a results-driven Managing Director to lead family office and family wealth coverage across the entire APAC region.

This senior client-facing role carries full ownership of originating and closing capital from single/multi-family offices and related wealth channels. You will leverage Hines’ strong global platform to design and deliver tailored real estate solutions and partnerships that align with sophisticated family office needs and mindsets. Joining a high-growth, entrepreneurial team, you will play a central role in expanding our APAC franchise — ideal for someone with deep experience, an existing network, and a proven ability to drive results in a collaborative environment. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Originate, manage, and grow relationships with family offices and family wealth clients across APAC.
  • Develop and execute targeted coverage strategies to build a robust pipeline and secure commitments.
  • Deeply understand diverse family office needs, investment mindsets, and objectives; leverage Hines’ global capabilities to craft bespoke real estate solutions, co-investments, and partnerships.
  • Drive end-to-end capital-raising processes for Hines PWS funds and tailored strategies.
  • Collaborate closely with global family office team, Investment, Asset Management, and IR functions to ensure exceptional client servicing.
  • Mentor junior team members and contribute to platform culture and growth.
  • Stay ahead of APAC family office trends, regulatory shifts, and competitive dynamics; bring innovative ideas to the team.


Qualifications

Minimum Requirements include:

  • Bachelor’s degree required (MBA, CFA, or equivalent a plus).
  • 10+ years of relevant experience in private wealth, family office coverage, or capital raising (real estate, private equity, or alternatives preferred).
  • Proven track record of successfully raising capital from family offices and family wealth clients.
  • Strong existing network of family offices and wealth advisors across APAC.
  • Results-driven with exceptional business development, relationship-building, and negotiation skills.
  • Highly entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and proactive — thrives with high ownership in a scaling business.
  • Strong team player who collaborates effectively across regions and functions.
  • Fluent in English, Mandarin and/or Cantonese. Other APAC languages highly advantageous.
  • Willingness to travel across APAC.
