As a Registered Nurse, you will provide compassionate care at the bedside of our patients every day. You will develop and maintain positive relationships with our patients, guests, other team members, and medical staff by striving for excellence in service and quality. You will be responsible for:
• Effectively managing the care of assigned patients using knowledge, skills, judgment, and decision-making skills for the specific area and patient population
• Delivering patient care utilizing standardized evidenced-based guidelines of care and appropriate resources, including personnel, services, supplies and equipment
• Communicating, collaborating, and functioning with other members of the health team to provide optimum care
**Observation/Wound care/Injuries, etc**
Tier 4Pay rate: Experience rate + $15.00 per hour (plus any applicable shift differentials)
Commitment: 12 shifts in 6 weeks
Campus: Flexibility to float to both Brunswick Maternity Center and Camden Maternity Center as needed
Weekend and Holidays: 4 Weekend shifts in a schedule period plus 1 major holiday and 1 minor holiday per year
Schedule: Provide schedule up to six (6) weeks in advance Key Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive, patient-centered nursing care to medical-surgical patients
- Manage assigned patient care using sound clinical judgment and evidence-based practices
- Deliver care utilizing standardized guidelines, appropriate resources, and interdisciplinary collaboration
- Monitor, assess, and respond to patient conditions, including post-surgical care, wound care, injuries, and observation needs
- Communicate effectively with physicians, care teams, patients, and families to ensure optimal outcomes
- Promote safety, quality, and service excellence at all times
- Graduate of a Diploma, Associate, or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing program
- BSN preferred
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the State of Georgia
- AHA Basic Life Support (BLS) within the first week of orientation (required and maintained)
- ACLS, PALS, or NRP, as applicable to unit, within 6 months of hire
- Strong clinical judgment and nursing skills compliant with Georgia nursing practice laws
- Effective written and verbal communication
- Positive interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Ability to care for patients across the lifespan, including pediatric, adult, and elderly populations
