About This Position
This position provides coverage for a team member on leave, ensuring continuity in customer service, order processing, and daily operations, and is expected to be short-term in length (24-28 weeks). There is a potential for extension or full-time consideration based on business needs. The standard work schedule is Monday-Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.

About the role
The Customer Service Assistant assists the administration department with tasks focused on providing a positive experience for our customers, team members, suppliers, and vendors.
What you'll do
- Responsible for entering production, service, non-stock, and forecast orders.
- Coordinate special shipments with the warehouse department.
- Report back orders to customers.
- Backup to the automated telephone assistant.
- Collect and distribute mail on a daily basis.
- Serve as the primary backup to the Customer Service Representative.
- Assist with any customer service issues when needed.
- Assist other departments at Team 1 with special tasks as time permits.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma
- Solid basic math skills
- Pleasant demeanor in person and on the phone.
- Excellent attention to detail.
- Strong working knowledge of computers and applications.
- Persistence and ability to follow up on open items.
- Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and willingness to help out in different areas when requested.
- Ability to multitask and meet deadlines.
Desired Qualifications
- Previous customer service experience.
- Data entry experience.
