LTL Driver at SALSON LOGISTICS INC – NEWARK, New Jersey

SalSon Logistics is seeking reliable and safety-focused Local Delivery Drivers to join our team. This role is responsible for the safe, timely transport of goods within a local area while delivering excellent customer service.

This is a hands-on position that requires attention to detail, accountability, and a strong commitment to safety.

Safely operate company vehicles to transport and deliver goods locally

Follow assigned routes and utilize GPS/navigation tools for efficient deliveries

Assist with loading and unloading freight, ensuring proper handling and securement

Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report any issues

Maintain compliance with all DOT regulations, traffic laws, and company policies

Provide professional and courteous service when interacting with customers

Ensure timely and accurate delivery of all shipments

Valid Drivers License (Non-CDL)

Minimum 6 months of delivery driving experience

Knowledge of DOT safety regulations and safe driving practices

Clean Motor Vehicle Record (MVR)

Ability to perform physical tasks including lifting, loading, and unloading
