Position Overview
Virginia Diner Peanuts is seeking an organized, detail-oriented Inside Sales Coordinator to support and grow our wholesale and corporate customer base. This position is central to our sales operations, ensuring seamless communication between clients and internal teams while driving sales growth and customer satisfaction.
Full Time Monday -Friday 8am to 5pm additional hours as needed. some weekends in peak season Nov/Dec
• Serve as the primary point of contact for wholesale and corporate customers via phone, email, and online channels.
• Process orders, provide product information, and respond to customer inquiries in a timely, professional manner.
• Support outside sales representatives by managing leads, preparing quotes, and coordinating follow-up activities.
• Maintain accurate customer records and sales data using CRM and other sales tools.
• Collaborate with marketing, logistics, and customer service teams to ensure smooth order fulfillment and customer satisfaction.
• Identify opportunities to upsell or cross-sell products to existing customers.
• Assist in preparing sales reports, tracking performance metrics, and forecasting demand.
• Participate in sales promotions, campaigns, and special projects as needed.
Qualifications
• Experience in inside sales, sales support, or customer service, preferably within the food, snack, or gift industries.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with a customer-focused attitude.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Experience with Microsoft products such as Outlook, Word, Excel, and Teams is a plus.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
