About This Position

Description:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and highly organized Financial Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will play a key part in supporting the annual budgeting process and monthly/quarterly forecasting cycles. You will partner closely with the Finance Manager on month-end close activities and help drive insightful business reviews with leadership. This position collaborates cross-functionally to evaluate financial performance, identify trends, and deliver actionable insights that enhance profitability and operational efficiency. You will also contribute to the ongoing development and optimization of business intelligence tools and reporting, helping to strengthen data-driven decision-making across the company.

Requirements:

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Assist in North American market forecasting and budget.
  • Support the monthly and year to date variance analysis and reporting for North American P&L.
  • Partner with cross-functional teams (Sales, Marketing, Operations) to evaluate financial impact and business opportunities.
  • Assist in preparing detailed presentations for all budgets and forecasts.
  • Utilize existing tools to assist in development of sales forecast, demand plan, and maintenance of customer and products.
  • Assist in monthly, quarterly, and annual cost center reporting in addition to variance analysis.
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity across financial systems and reports.
  • Assist in data mining, data compilation, and development of BI system and reporting for multiple departments.
  • Assist in eCommerce finance analysis.
  • Assist in other ad hoc financial analysis.

Required Skills and Abilities

  • Strong knowledge of accounting and finance concepts
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office
  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint, a must
  • Outstanding verbal/written communication
  • Organizational and teamwork skills are required
  • Analytical and Problem-Solving skills

Education/Experience

  • Education: Bachelor’s in Finance, Accounting, Business or related field.
  • Years of experience: 0-2 Years in a related finance function; Experience in a consumer-packaged goods (CPG) company, preferred.
