We represent some of the most iconic brands in the world. While beer is our heritage, our portfolio is diverse—ranging from world-famous brews like Coors Light, Blue Moon, Guinness, Modelo Especial, Fat Tire, White Claw, Truly, Dos Equis, and Corona Extra to a massive selection of Non-Alcoholic (NA) beverages, Sodas, and Energy drinks. We want you to help us support the people behind every bottle and can in our warehouse!
The Role: HR Supervisor (Operations & Benefits SME)
We’re not just looking for an administrator — we’re looking for a Subject Matter Expert (SME) who can help run the day-to-day HR operations of our company. As our HR Supervisor, you will be the operational engine of our department. You’ll bridge the gap between high-level strategy and daily execution, ensuring our crew is taken care of from their first day to their 401k. You’ll work closely with leaders across our warehouse, delivery, and administrative teams to support a fast-paced operational workforce.
This role reports to the HR & Finance Manager and supervises HR support staff.
What you’ll do:
- Be the Expert (SME): Serve as the primary front-facing contact for our Medical, Dental, and 401k plans. You’ll also be our go-to expert for FMLA, ADA, and Colorado FAMLI leave administration.
- Lead the Way: Supervise the daily activity of our HR support team and help ensure HR processes run smoothly across all locations.
- Drive Compliance: Ensure our workplace policies are applied consistently and stay ahead of the curve on all government reporting, including ACA, EEOC, and OSHA.
- Investigate & Collaborate: Lead employee relations investigations and partner with managers to address workplace concerns, ensuring consistent application of company policies.
- Support HR initiatives across company locations, with occasional travel to sites in western Colorado and Kansas as needed.
Why HCB?
Our employees rave about the team members and management they work with. We keep things running smoothly so you can focus on what matters. A career in the beverage industry has serious perks, including:
- Time for You: Paid vacation (accruing 2 weeks in your first year!), paid holidays, and paid sick leave.
- The "Drink Perks": Great discounts on our entire portfolio—Beer, Seltzers, Non-Alcoholic, Soda, and Energy brands!
- Safety First: A taxi reimbursement program to promote safe fun and responsible consumption.
- Future Security: 401k with up to a 5% match (100% vesting after 2 years).
- Top-Tier Benefits: High-quality, low-employee contribution Medical, Dental, and Vision.
- The Fun Stuff: On-site hospitality room with weekly happy hours and product tastings, plus company-sponsored parties and events!
What You Bring to the Table:
- Education: A Degree in Human Resources, Business, or equivalent experience.
- Certification (The Bonus): SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly valued!
- Technical Skills: Experience with Paylocity or other major Payroll/ERP systems is preferred.
- Expertise: Proven experience in an HR role with increasing responsibility, particularly in benefits administration and employee relations.
- Attitude: A professional appearance, a proactive mindset, and the ability to be a positive role model for our team.
