Now Hiring: Facility Attendant
Location: BigShots Golf, Fort Worth
- Perform minor and routine maintenance tasks, including painting, plumbing, and electrical wiring using hand tools.
- Replace air-conditioner filters and notify management of major repair needs.
- Tend to heating, cooling, and hot water systems as necessary.
- Respond to guest service requests per company policy.
- Coordinate with management on activities and audio-visual needs.
- Maintain clean and safe work areas and follow preventive maintenance procedures.
- Keep records of equipment maintenance and repairs, including Material Safety Data Sheets.
- Observe daily equipment and utility meter readings and program HVAC controllers according to the facility schedule.
- Ensure the quality appearance of the facility's interior and exterior, including painting and minor repairs.
- Maintain an orderly inventory of finishing supplies and ensure proper stocking of regularly used parts.
- Inspect and repair minor issues in common areas and learn emergency procedures.
- Ensure the safe operation of equipment and chemicals, following lockout procedures.
- Report for scheduled shifts on time and in uniform, adhering to company policies.

- Perform other related duties as required.
- Strong leadership, management, organizational, and communication skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel).
- Ability to motivate team members and coordinate diverse activities effectively.
- Capable of delivering results while maintaining tact and diplomacy in interactions.
- Strong multitasking and prioritization skills to manage competing deadlines.
- Demonstrate sound knowledge of facility operations and services.
- Use analytical skills to measure business potential and facility value.
- Comfortable with visibility in a leadership role within the facility and community.
- Certificate from a Vocational Institution and completion of apprenticeship in HVAC, plumbing, and electrical repair preferred.
- Current Driver’s License required.
- Flexible schedule required, including nights and weekends as needed, with responsibilities for emergency responses outside regular hours.
- Heavy work; ability to exert up to 100 pounds occasionally, 50 pounds frequently, and 20 pounds constantly to move objects.
- Activities include climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, typing, grasping, feeling, talking, hearing, and repetitive motion.
- Close visual acuity needed for data analysis, inspections, and operation of machinery, as well as determining accuracy and thoroughness of work.
- Activities occur both indoors and outdoors, with exposure to various hazards, including moving mechanical parts, electrical currents, and chemicals.
- May involve work in confined spaces or at heights, with potential claustrophobia risks.
- This is a safety-sensitive position that may be subject to additional safety requirements.
