Injection Molding Material Handler at Rosti – Cary, North Carolina

Under the direction of the Shift Supervisor, the material handler is responsible for supplying molding machines with ample amounts of required materials, ensuring the proper operation of any hopper loaders, hopper dryers, grinders and other related equipment.

• Interacts with all departments to recommend and help implement solutions to material or secondary equipment related problems and maintain optimum production conditions.
• Responsible for cleaning and basic maintenance of all support equipment including grinders, hoppers, hopper loaders, and dryers.
• Responsible for compliance to customer and internal specifications regarding material and work station set-up
• Completion of all assigned paperwork
• Awareness and understanding of IQMS data related to job function
• Responsible for correct labeling procedures for materials and material containers
• Communication with shift personnel to ensure operation effectiveness and reliability, including inter-shift communications relative to material status and quality issues
• Adherence to safety standards at all times
• Participating in Continuous Process Improvement projects
• Initiate action to prevent the occurrence of any nonconformities relating to product, process and quality systems
• Perform other duties as required
