The Role
The Restaurant General Manager will:
- Champion Forbes Five-Star service standards and elevate the guest journey at every touchpoint
- Inspire, develop, and retain a high-performing, service-driven team
- Cultivate a culture of accountability, ownership, and floor presence
- Partner closely with Culinary, Sommelier, and Resort Leadership to deliver seamless, elevated experiences
- Drive financial performance while protecting the integrity of the brand
This is a hands-on leadership role. Visibility in the dining room, coaching/mentorship of team members, and unwavering commitment to excellence are essential.

The Ideal Candidate
- Proven luxury restaurant leadership experience (Forbes or Five-Star/AAA Five-Diamond preferred)
- Strong financial acumen and operational discipline
- A visible, floor-centric leadership style
- A passion for developing talent and building culture
- Polished communication and executive presence
- 5+ years in senior restaurant leadership
- Polished communication style
- Proven ability to lead from the dining room — not from the office
- Strong guest recovery skills and anticipatory service mindset
- Ability to coach in real time and reinforce standards consistently
- Prior experience in Forbes Five-Star, AAA Five-Diamond, Relais & Châteaux, or Michelin-level environments strongly preferred
- Demonstrated understanding of audit-driven service standards and mystery inspection culture
- P&L ownership experience
- Budgeting, forecasting, labor management, and cost control expertise
- Must think like an operator and an owner
