We are looking for a motivated and hospitality-driven Assistant Venue Manager to help lead our team and drive operational excellence.
Position Summary
The Assistant Venue Manager supports the Venue Manager in overseeing daily operations, delivering outstanding guest experiences, and ensuring the smooth and efficient running of the venue. This role requires strong leadership, a passion for hospitality, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
Operations & Leadership
Assist in managing day-to-day venue operations, including floor management, staff supervision, and service flow.
Act as the venue leader during Manager-on-Duty shifts.
Support recruitment, onboarding, training, and development of team members.
Uphold and enforce company policies, procedures, and service standards.
Guest Experience
Maintain a high standard of customer service and ensure all guests receive an exceptional experience.
Handle escalated customer concerns with professionalism and efficiency.
Monitor guest feedback and work with the management team to continuously improve service.
Financial & Administrative
Assist with inventory management, stock ordering, and supplier coordination.
Support budget, revenue, and cost-control initiatives.
Complete reports such as shift logs, incident reports, and performance summaries.
Safety & Compliance
Ensure the venue is compliant with health, safety, and licensing regulations.
Promote a safe environment for guests and staff by enforcing proper procedures.
Assist with emergency response protocols when necessary.
Qualifications & Experience
Previous experience in hospitality, nightlife, entertainment, or venue management (3-4 years preferred).
Strong leadership and communication skills with the ability to motivate teams.
Excellent problem-solving abilities and a calm, professional demeanor under pressure.
Solid understanding of service standards and operational best practices.
Availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required.
