Job Description
-The principle function of an employee in this class is to operate Roll Off Trucks both inside the landfill
,
as well as Coffee County, and other surrounding counties. The work is performed under the supervision of the Roll Off Foreman. The nature of the work performed requires an employee to have ability to work both supervised and unsupervised and part of a team. The principle duties of this class are performed in a landfill environment commercial business and residential homes.

Job Domains
•Operates assigned equipment as directed;
•Follows manufacture's recommended preventative maintenance schedule for all equipment and performs preventative maintenance functions as required;
•Follows the direction of the Roll Off Foreman;
•Keeps the Roll Off Foreman informed on issues regarding equipment; routes; and/or assigned projects;
•Assists in servicing assigned equipment as directed.
Job Qualifications
• Knowledge and direct experience in operating of Roll Off Trucks;
• Knowledge of all basic equipment preventative maintenance;
• Ability to communicate with others orally and in writing;
• Ability to understand and follow oral and/or written policies and instructions;
• A valid Alabama commercial driver's license.
Must pass new hire drug screen and willing to participate in random drug screens.
