This role focuses on protecting student well-being by reviewing and analyzing online activity to identify situations where intervention may be needed. You will play a critical part in detecting risks such as bullying, self-harm, violence, or abuse, and ensuring timely escalation to appropriate school contacts. The position requires strong attention to detail, sound judgment, and the ability to make fast, accurate decisions in high-volume, sensitive environments. You will communicate critical information clearly and professionally to school representatives and support rapid response actions. Working remotely within a 24/7 operational structure, you will contribute to a mission-driven team dedicated to student safety. This is a highly impactful role where analytical thinking and emotional resilience directly support real-world outcomes.
- Review and analyze student online activity to identify potential safety risks requiring intervention
- Ensure timely and accurate escalation of incidents to designated school district contacts and emergency responders
- Communicate sensitive and time-critical information via phone, email, and written reports in a professional manner
- Record detailed incident notes and documentation in CRM systems such as Salesforce
- Apply judgment and established guidelines to determine appropriate actions for student safety situations
- Audit and review decisions made by peers to ensure accuracy and consistency across the team
- Identify trends and patterns in data to support continuous improvement of decision-making processes
- Collaborate with leadership to refine operational procedures and improve response workflows
- Operate independently while maintaining high accountability for individual performance and outcomes
- Maintain focus and efficiency while processing large volumes of sensitive content
- Experience in crisis management, trust & safety, content moderation, child advocacy, or related fields
- Strong ability to analyze and interpret large volumes of information quickly and accurately
- High comfort level communicating sensitive or critical information across phone, email, and written formats
- Experience using web-based and desktop tools such as Salesforce, Slack, or similar platforms
- Strong reading comprehension and attention to detail, with the ability to process extensive content
- Ability to work independently in a remote environment with minimal supervision
- Emotional resilience and professionalism when handling sensitive or graphic content
- Strong sense of ownership, accountability, and commitment to high-quality outcomes
- Ability to manage long periods of focused, uninterrupted work
- Spanish language fluency is a plus
