Job Description

SUMMARY:

Responsible for providing cleaning services in assigned Casino areas ensuring approved Fort Hall Casino policies, procedures and standards.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPOSIBILITIES include the following:

⦁ Cleans and polishes Gaming devices surfaces.
⦁ Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, rest rooms, stairways, and other work areas.
⦁ Sweeps and cleans floors.
⦁ Washes walls, door panels, and sills.
⦁ Empties wastebaskets, and empties and cleans ash trays.
⦁ Routinely inspects work areas, identifying potential problems or repair needs, and notifying the Environmental Services Office of maintenance to be scheduled.
⦁ Facilitates the flow of information throughout the department, by attending regularly scheduled pre-shift meetings with employees on assigned shift.
⦁ Take lost and found items and delivery them to the Security Dispatch Office for storage.
⦁ Have a high degree of judgment.
⦁ Must be able to work both independently and as a member of a team
⦁ MUST MAINTAIN STRICT CONFIDENTIALITY OF ALL INFORMATION PROCESSED THROUGH THE DEPARTMENT INCLUDING RECORDS, REPORTS, DOCUMENTS, CONVERSATIONS, ETC. A breach of confidentiality will be subject to appropriate disciplinary action, up to and including termination from employment

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

CERTIFICATES, LICENSE, AND REGISTRATIONS
⦁ Must be able to submit supporting documents of education and training (High School Diploma, GED, Degree and Certificates) to support qualifications.
⦁ Must be able to obtain and maintain a gaming license in good standing according to the licensing rules and regulations.

EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED; preferred
High School Diploma or GED, required with three (3) years of housekeeping experience, and Certifications in use of hazardous chemicals, safety, or other housekeeping duties

High School Diploma or GED, required with six (6) years of housekeeping experience, and Certified in hazmat 10, CPR and First Aid

SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Strong organizational skills required.

Ability to apply concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.

REASONING ABILITY:
Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions. Ability to interpret an extensive variety of technical instructions in mathematical or diagram form and deal with several abstract and concrete variables.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee regularly works near moving mechanical parts and is regularly exposed to risk of electrical shock and radiation. The employee occasionally works in high, precarious places and in outside weather conditions and is occasionally exposed to extreme heat.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate. When on the casino floor, the noise level increases to loud. When on the casino floor or other designated areas may be subjected to tobacco smoke.
