Our Project Management team acts as the owner’s advocate, providing end-to-end project oversight and ensuring every decision protects our clients’ interests. We deliver successful outcomes on complex developments, offering integrated technical oversight, strategic guidance, and proactive risk management across residential, commercial, industrial, institutional, and energy projects. We support projects of all sizes and procurement models, from Design-Build and Construction Management to complex P3/AFP delivery. Our adaptable professionals combine engineering expertise with meticulous scheduling and risk practices to optimize performance, enhance value, and keep every project on track.
Our Project Management team is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our Victoria team.
What You Get to Do
- Manage the development of project plans, schedules, and budgets.
- Maintaining and monitoring project plans, project schedules, work hours, budgets, and expenditures.
- Monitor change management processes and workflows.
- Attend all required meetings including working groups, design coordination, and governance meetings.
- Prepare meeting packages including agendas, minutes, action logs and decision items.
- Monitor change management protocols throughout the project phases.
- Ensuring project deadlines are met through clear communication and follow-up on project plans, schedules, and action items.
- Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each project.
- Ensure stakeholder views are managed towards the best solution.
- Accountable for coordinating workload and team resources.
- Mentors all junior and intermediate level team members while actively participating and leading team meetings.
- Prepare the technical components and fees for proposals.
- Networks occasionally promoting the business, cross-selling and building new contacts and enhancing client relationships.
What You'll Bring
- Having 8 to 12 years of relevant experience.
- Minimum 3 years of experience mentoring team members.
- University Degree or equivalent to any of the following: Construction Project Management, Civil, Structural, Mechanical, Architectural or Electrical Engineering, Estimating.
- Professional qualification obtained: PMP and/or P.Eng.
- Advanced experience with Microsoft Office Suite programs, including MS Project.
- Advanced knowledge of project delivery models, including, construction management, and design-bid-build.
- Experienced in managing projects through design, procurement, and construction.
- Ability to build strong working relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Strong analytical and interpersonal skills combined with sound judgment and initiative.
- Responsive to internal and external stakeholder requests.
- Self-motivated with excellent organizational, communication and report writing skills.
- Ability to work in a team environment and ability to work to own initiatives.
- Demonstrates attention to detail to produce quality work with good time management.
- Eligible to work in Canada or pursuing a work permit.
- Hold a valid drivers license.

The typical hiring range for this Victoria role is $100,000-$120,000 CAD per year. This represents base salary only, not total compensation, and BTY Group may offer more or less depending on a candidate's experience and qualifications. Compensation takes into account education, training, experience, location, market factors, and internal alignment. In line with BC Pay Transparency rules, a candidate's past salary will not be considered in determining pay.
