Cloud Network Engineer at Michigan Milk Producers Assoc – Novi, Michigan

The Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA) is seeking a Cloud Network Engineer to join our IT Department. This role is responsible for managing and securing a complex hybrid IT environment, including provisioning, configuring, and administering Windows Server infrastructure, Azure cloud services, firewalls, SD-WAN architecture, and enterprise network hardware. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cybersecurity, perform comprehensive risk assessments, and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable, secure infrastructure solutions aligned with business growth.

The Michigan Milk Producers Association (MMPA), established in 1916, is a dairy farmer-owned and operated milk marketing cooperative and dairy processor. As the 10th largest dairy cooperative in the U.S., we proudly serve dairy farmers across Michigan, Wisconsin, Ohio, and Indiana. With a workforce of around 625 employees spread across four states, MMPA is deeply rooted in the dairy industry. We operate multiple facilities, including the Middlebury Cheese Company in Indiana, Superior Dairy in Ohio, and two SQF Level 3 dairy ingredient plants in Michigan. Experience:

Knowledge of various PC hardware and software applications including:

• Knowledge of, Zero Trust Network (Zscaler), HP/Aruba, NextGen Firewall Technologies Ubiquiti Networking Hardware.
• Cloud-based services (Azure, AWS).

• Multi-factor Authentication.

• Zero Trust Security.
• Knowledge of switch technologies, Cisco / HP Aruba, Ubiquiti

• Sound knowledge of routing and switching concepts and MPLS and SD-Wan Design
• Extensive experience in configuring, monitoring, and troubleshooting firewall appliances, failover DMZ zoning & configuring VLANs/routing/NAT with the firewalls.
• SD-WAN deployment and management.
• Effective troubleshooting and documentation skills.

• Exchange Online, MS Teams (VoIP), Intune, Endpoint Protection and other associate Microsoft management tools
• Experience with platforms such as Intune, Windows Defender, CrowdStrike, Mimecast
• Experience creating a customer knowledge base.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree or required work experience of seven or more years in related cloud infrastructure configuration and management, as well as LAN network configuration.
