Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Cleaner to join our team. As a Cleaner, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and ensuring a safe and sanitary environment. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to work independently, and a strong work ethic.
Duties:
- Perform general cleaning tasks, including Cleaning toilets, dusting, sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming
- Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, and other common areas
- Empty trash receptacles and replace liners
- Clean windows, glass surfaces, and mirrors
- Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and notify supervisor when supplies need to be replenished
- Follow established cleaning procedures and safety guidelines
- Perform floor care tasks such as buffing, waxing, and polishing floors
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks as needed
Skills:
- Experience in commercial or industrial cleaning preferred
- Knowledge of proper cleaning techniques and use of cleaning equipment
- Ability to operate floor care equipment such as buffers and polishers
- Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks effectively
- Excellent time management skills to ensure completion of assigned duties within designated timeframes
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good communication skills to interact with team members and supervisors
